Dennis Glauber was born in South Africa where he was educated and received his training as an anesthesiologist. He immigrated to the United States in 1980, and lived in Seattle until moving with his wife, Evette, to Laguna Woods in 2013. He lectured on Opera for several years at Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at University of California, Irvine. He has been published in every annual issue of Village Stories since its inception in 2015. He wrote Composer Profiles for Seattle Chamber Music Society and Program Notes for Music of Remembrance and Seattle Chamber Players. He has been the Program Annotator for Community Concerts of LWV since 2014. His book, In My Anecdotage, was published in July, 2022.
