Don Price (“Kona don” when strumming his ukulele) has a greeting -- “Aloha Writers and Readers.” Don and his wife, Peggy, moved to the Village about a year ago, relocating from Kalaheo, Kauai.
Kalaheo, where they lived for over four years, was to be their “Happily Ever After” but changes in circumstances brought them to Laguna Woods.
Don began writing poetry and lyrics to songs as a young man. When he felt or heard something meaningful, his poetry flowed. Don has drawers and boxes of thoughts waiting to be shared.

The thought was good that came to me
I always knew that it would be
I took the time to write it down
Tomorrow then it’s still around.
So many I have let slip by
And in the morning wondered why
But just this once I took the time
I wrote it down, the thought is mine”

And in the morning wondered why
But just this once I took the time
