Donnalyn Yates, born in Pasadena, has always lived in Southern California. After her 4 children were grown she went back to college at age 56 and graduated from CSUF with a degree in Art Education. She continued at Claremont Graduate University with a Masters in Education and Elementary Teaching Credential.
While teaching third grade, she developed memory products to help children remember math facts. After retiring, Donnalyn published her products and books and started her own business called Memory Joggers.
Donnalyn now spends her time teaching a weekly “Art Journaling as a Legacy” class through the LW Art Association. She has created over 50 personal art journals as her legacy for her family.
