Linda A. Malcor has a Ph.D. in Folklore and Mythology from UCLA. Her specialties include Narrative, Celtic Studies, Medieval Studies and Indo-European Comparative Mythology. She teaches and lectures in all these fields, in addition to teaching English as a Foreign Language. Dr. Malcor’s novels and short stories use fantasy to discuss issues in the modern world such as clashes of cultures and languages, LGBTQ issues, allies with different worldviews and economies. In her copious free time, Dr. Malcor loves to engage in sci-fi/fantasy fandom. She is the President of the Mercedes Lackey fan club, Queen’s Own, and has several Facebook pages under her name. Her newest book, Artorius: The Real King Arthur, was released in the U.K. Dec. 15, 2022 and was released in the U.S. March 15, 2023​
