Paul Brady has a Ph.D. in animal nutrition from Michigan State University. With that, came a strong interest in programming early devices such as hand-held calculators and desktop computers. He moved away from biochem research in 1993 and took a position in instructional computing at the University of Minnesota. The goal was to help faculty teach online. In this position Paul built, ran, and programmed web servers and sites until his retirement eight years ago. In addition, he learned photographic and videographic skills.
Paul moved to Laguna Woods Village with his wife, Linda, and fur-child, Kira, in May of 2022 and began to use his skills to volunteer in the Village.
