Sheila Bass, a new member of the Pub Club, grew up in London, England. In her twenties she worked in the fashion and advertising world, then started traveling far and wide. Sheila moved to the Detroit area in 1968, then to Laguna Woods in 1998.
Her writings have been mainly essays for speeches in a Topic Masters Club. After her husband passed in 2000, poetry poured out of her! Now at age 91 she has turned to 'memories'.
Without formal 'higher education', Sheila considers herself a proud graduate of the 'University of Life'. She has dabbled in watercolor painting. One of her pieces was accepted into the Michigan Watercolor Fine Arts Competition. She has also been a board member and leader in a number of organizations over the years.
